Terms of Use
Last updated [DATE]. Calendle is made by [LEGAL ENTITY]. Questions about these terms go to [CONTACT EMAIL].
By playing Calendle you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the app.
The game
Calendle sets one puzzle a day: cover the board with all ten pieces, leaving today's month, day and weekday uncovered. The daily puzzle scores once. You may replay it, and play any other date, unscored or on the random leaderboard.
We may change the puzzle, the scoring, the rewards or the modes as the game develops.
Your account
Playing offline needs no account. A guest account keeps your scores on our server without asking anything of you. Signing in with Google lets you keep those scores if you change phones.
One provider account belongs to one player. Keep access to your phone and your Google account secure: anyone who has them can play as you.
Your name
Display names are assembled from fixed word lists, so there is nothing to moderate. If a name combination turns out to be a problem, we may change it.
Coins, hints and streak freezes
Coins, hints and streak freezes are features of the game, not property. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred between accounts. They may be earned in the game or bought.
Purchases are processed by the App Store, not by us. Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms — we cannot issue one. We may change prices, what an item does, or how much of it a day of play awards.
If your account is deleted, anything in it goes with it, including items that were paid for.
Fair play
The leaderboard only means something if the times on it are real. Do not automate play, modify the app, tamper with the times or solves it reports, or use another player's account. If a score was not achieved by playing, we may remove it, reset an account's scores, or close the account.
Availability
Offline play needs nothing from us. Scoring, leaderboards, gifts and purchases need our server, which may be unavailable at times. We may change or discontinue any part of the service, including the servers, with reasonable notice where we can give it.
No warranty
Calendle is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of faults.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, [LEGAL ENTITY] is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION].
Changes
If these terms change, the new version appears here with a new date. Continuing to play after a change means accepting it.
